My name is Erik Klein and I am a freelance editor based in Salt Lake City, UT. Originally from NYC, I got my start in the commercial world as an editor at a production company, where I worked on promos for Showtime, Sheraton, and Spectrum TV, as well as commercials for Dr. Teal's, Mavis Discount Tires, Brother and Nutrafol.
Some of my recent projects include editorial for Adobe, Netflix, Thread, Travis Mathew, Built Bar, and Weave.

With interest in writing and directing, I approach every edit with story and emotion at the top of mind. Spectacle without story means nothing, but a story without emotion doesn't mean much either. My goal is to create visually captivating edits that pace well, "feel" good, and effectively communicate the right emotion for the story being told.
